Point Series: cutting edge CNC boring machines
One of Vitap's key points, which has made it a global reference point in the field of woodworking machinery, is certainly its continuous research and experimentation to create increasingly advanced, high-performance and efficient machines. And it is precisely this process, carried out daily in our research and development centre, that led to the birth, in 2019, of the new Point Series line.
The new CNC boring machines will be presented for the first time at the international fair in Hannover, Ligna, but here are a few previews of what makes them revolutionary.
Point CNC boring machines: what makes them unique?
Vitap CNC boring machines are all characterized by intelligence, adaptability to the needs of small and large companies, efficiency and speed. What makes the new Point Series a revolutionary line of woodworking machines? The patented systems developed by Vitap.
The Double Dynamic Transport®️ , a two clamps seamlessly panel movement, the Vitap Bar Nesting System®️, to maintain nesting advantages without limits in horizontal drilling, and the belt-free panel movement patented system.
Point K2 2.0
The top of the range of the entire line, the CNC Point K2 2.0 machine incorporates the most advanced technology developed by Vitap within a compact and light design. Equipped with the patents Double Dynamic Transport®️ and Vitap Bar Nesting System®️, it has a large capacity in Y (1250 mm) and an innovative automatic tool changer warehouse.
Point K2 920
Another woodworking machine with the two innovative Vitap patents (Double Dynamic Transport®️ and Vitap Bar Nesting System®️) is the K2 920 CNC boring machine. Equipped with a PC for intuitive management and efficient programming, it is able to work the 5 faces of the panel in just 4 minutes and it guarantees extremely low energy consumption.
Point 2
The Point 2 CNC boring machine is equipped with the patented belt movement system, which allows to work seamlessly: in this way the set-up times are cancelled and the process is incredibly fast. Flexible, fast and intelligent, the Point 2 automatic woodworking machine saves space and time and is perfect for "Just in Time" production.
Point Series also includes machines for the production of acoustic and sound-absorbing panels, Point Acoustic and Point Grooving.
