The Eclipse edgebander is one of the most iconic and innovative machines in the Vitap range. Winner in 2013 of the prestigious AWFS Visionary New Machine Award in Las Vegas, it was the first semiautomatic machine capable of combining flexibility and precision in the edging of open and closed shaped pieces.
At Vitap we are aware that there is no innovation without evolving and responding to new user needs. In the case of our edgebander, the evolution passes through the launch of its new version, the Eclipse 2.0, which brings important innovations designed to make its use even easier, more productive and comfortable.
What's new in Eclipse 2.0
First of all, we have improved the base design: the machine is now more stable, and more comfortable to use.
We have introduced a new large 10 ”control touchscreen, which makes machine management more functional and intuitive.
The new version of the Eclipse is also equipped with advanced software, which maintains a library of the work carried out and which guarantees intelligent applications: changing the type of glue will also automatically change the mapping.
