Education, technology and teamwork: a student-built arcade cabinet

As part of a hands-on educational project, 3rd year Prépa-Métiers students and woodworking students from the wood workshop worked together to create a fully handmade arcade cabinet, designed for the students’ common area.

The Prépa-Métiers students were involved in the early production stages, carrying out the CNC cutting of wooden panels and gaining direct experience with professional machinery and industrial manufacturing processes.
The woodworking students then handled the assembly and finishing phases, applying their technical skills and craftsmanship.

The project highlights the value of collaboration between different educational paths, encouraging career discovery and learning through real-world experience.

Dr. Montanelli, Sales & Marketing Director at Vitap, expressed his appreciation to the students and teachers involved, emphasizing the importance of educational initiatives that bring young people closer to industrial environments and professional technologies.
